Hosted each spring by the Friends of Norris Lake (FONL), the Annual Bass Fishing Tournament is open to anglers from all communities, making it one of the few Norris Lake events that welcomes everyone. Participants launch from Matheny Park for a full day of friendly competition, aiming to reel in the biggest catch for cash prizes and trophies.

The tournament also serves as a fundraiser for future community engagement and lake improvement projects, helping FONL continue to support events, activities, and maintenance that benefit everyone who enjoys Norris Lake. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or trying your luck for the first time, it’s a day to enjoy the outdoors, connect with fellow fishing enthusiasts, and support the community.

The Norris Lake Community Festival brings the best of our community together in a single, exciting event, combining the energy of both SpringFest and SummerFest into one day of fun, food, and entertainment. Hosted in partnership between Norris Lake's community association and the Friends of Norris Lake (FONL), the festival offers something for everyone: live music, local vendors, family activities, and more.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Matheny Park, this event is a celebration of community, lake life, and summer spirit. Proceeds from the festival help fund future community events and lake improvement projects, ensuring Norris Lake remains a vibrant and engaging place for residents and visitors alike.

Whether you’re exploring vendor booths, enjoying live performances, or participating in games and activities, the Norris Lake Festival is a day to connect, celebrate, and support the community.
